Client receiving Lumecca IPL treatment for radiant skin and pigmentation correction in Calgary.

Melasma is a common skin condition characterized by dark, uneven patches, typically on the face. The Quanta Chrome System offers an advanced and effective way to address melasma by breaking down the pigment causing the discoloration while promoting skin rejuvenation.

  • Advanced Precision: The Q-Switch laser specifically targets the melanin in the skin, responsible for the hyperpigmentation associated with melasma. It breaks the pigment into smaller particles, allowing your body’s natural processes to gradually eliminate them.

  • Non-Invasive: This treatment is non-invasive and gentle, minimizing disruption to the skin while providing targeted results. It’s ideal for those looking for a safer, effective alternative to more aggressive treatments.

  • Suitable for All Skin Types: The Quanta Chrome system is designed to be safe on all skin types, reducing the risk of side effects like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which can occur with other types of treatments.

  • Minimal Downtime: Patients can expect minimal recovery time, with mild redness or sensitivity that typically subsides within a few hours to days. You can resume your daily activities shortly after the treatment.

  • Effective for Stubborn Pigmentation: Melasma is often difficult to treat, but the Q-Switch laser offers a reliable solution. While results may be visible after the first session, multiple treatments are often recommended for optimal outcomes.
